Uncle Ted always seems to have things figured out.

I just switched my golf score with my bowling score…. voila!

Sometimes love of the game transcends arbitrary numbers, not to mention hooks, slices and mulligans.

I’m sure you still play just as badly.

I used to talk trash about golf. My brother invited to go with him so he could teach me how to play. I found golfing was a skill I didn’t and will never have. Consequently, I no longer talk trash about it.

I think I’m related to uncle Ted. Back in the day when I played golf I did the same. Just wanted to enjoy the walk. For some reason, “real” golfers I played with found that to be sacrilegious. It was not the unhappiest day of my life when my back problems forced me to quit golf!

Uncle Ted has gained on of the greatest gifts of life, joy. No one or body could give it to him.

Takes people like Uncle Ted to teach others how to live. Humble is humanity and Uncle Ted. Brutus should be all ears and is well on his way.

He’ll so much better about his game playing with Brutus.

Just about anyone can play golf. It is the only sport where one is completely responsible for their ability and outcome. It is a very humbling four to five hours. I wish I could golf everyday.

No score, nobody loses. We all have a beer. Life is good.

As you get older there are many things in life to fret about, golf shouldn’t be one of them.

Absolutely. That’s the only way I play.

I never kept score, when I played… I was out there for the fresh air, the exercise, and the peace, and quiet. Keeping score would have aggravated me, and ruined what was usually a beautiful day.

I only care anymore about how many golf balls I lose.

So that’s my problem with bridge! However, I don’t keep score. The website I use keeps it for me—and showcases my ineptitude to all the other players on the site!
