“I’m sorry Dave…err, Satch. I can’t do that.” The truth has finally been revealed. Universal is like Virtual. We say it exists butt, we’re lying our Gluteus Maximus off. Billy Sol Hargis asks, “Can I get a Hallelujah?” “Praise Him, whoever that is.”
Problem with Universal remotes these days is that they cover so many devices that it makes searching a bit of a process. For example, if you’re trying to program a Samsung TV, there may be 30 to 40 three digit codes to try. More than one might work, but not be fully functional. Takes a bit of trial & error, but once you find the right code for the Mfg./device, you write down the number & you’re good until you buy your next TV.
Wow deep! “Steve” is riffing on Plato’s universals, how an object’s features can exist independently of the object itself. Steve sorta has it right. Kind of. OK, maybe not at all.

I can think of a few other things that I would rather watch than Springer.

Satchel’s choice of viewing habits underscores my ongoing point about “Steve” being the smart one among this lot.

“Springer”, on the other hand, was NEVER meant to be pondered.

With the remote in his hand, perhaps Steve’s grasp exceeded his reach?!!

My new TVs don’t have buttons. The remote absolutely must be used.

Why isn’t Bucky a performance artist? He’s be perfect at explaining what the performance meant.

He watches Springer to remind himself that life can be worse than life with… Steve.
