    Here in North Texas we have had no rain for about two months. A bunch of days at 100+ even the weeds have turned brown.

    They have a short window to bloom and die. They take every advantage they can. That’s why they are hard to eradicate. My lawn is largely creeping Charlie, clover and wood violets. A bit of wild strawberry in places, because of the birds.
