My hometown is the first village lit up with street lights by Thomas Edison, Second Avenue from Drake Avenue to Locust Street is wider than the other town streets because the trolley used to run down it.

My hometown had a rock.

My hometown has all kinds of Beatles stuff.

We currently have a woodchuck who dines on our porch.

Wait. The garage where Mickey Mouse was created is not a museum? This is disappointing.

Carol used to live in a rather cool neighborhood.

Perhaps the Lorax had planted that tree?

I like the happy monkeys railing too. Someone had a humorous sense of style. My hometown has a big prison.

I grew up in Oakland. To the west we had a great view.

Beany and Cecil started out in a garage in Long Beach, where I was born. Though I haven’t lived there in over 40 years, it still seems like home to me. It’s been said people live their whole lives there. As for me, you can take the boy outta Long Beach, but you can’t take Long Beach outta the boy.

Hmm, my childhood home was just a few miles east of there.
