I have been a huge fan of Calvin and Hobbes since I was 8 years old and read it in my dads newspaper. I had most of the books from book fairs over the years and I do not recall this storyline at all. I am excited because it feels brand new to me!
You can tell it’s from a pro, because the enemies know that no pro would ever use such a simple code; which makes it the perfect code for a pro to use.

As I mentioned before, this is another wonderful story arc and has a fantastic twist. I think it lasts for two weeks.

Better call Dick Tracy for help. (In his current storyline, Sam seems to be doing all the work anyway!)

This arc would be better if that was a ransom note for Hobbes—from Susie.

Bah, A REAL pro would require the use of something like an Enigma Machine, not the simplest substitution cypher there is.

Why do I have a feeling there’s a “Red Ryder BB gun” vibe in there somewhere? I know it not the “season to be jolly”, but still.

A few years from now when the hormones kick in, you will be day dreaming about the girl, Calvin.
