On April 2, 2020, I read that Frazz had been published for 20 years. Since I read him through Go Comics, I was able to go back and read all of the past strips. Thanks, Jef Mallet.
The only David Sedaris book I’ve read is “Dress Your Family in Denim and Corduroy,” which isn’t strictly adult but does have elements that I wouldn’t recommend to an elementary schooler. One thing about it is that he made everybody, including himself, sound mildly to extremely annoying. If he met me, I’m sure he’d emphasize my annoying traits too.

Mrs Olsen tried to catch herself, not because Sedaris is inappropriate, but because she started to show that she’s really human.

When me and my close sibs were about that age, we’d walk on game trails. Deer LIKE to walk under low branches: Back scratchers…

One teaches the other. Swapping roles is a good thing.

Sedaris is a humorist of the highest order. He is not inappropriate for anybody of any age. Frazz is way off base – and could use a little humor.

I don’t know about reading Sedaris but listening to him doing Billie Holiday is amazingly funny (and perhaps a bit troubling)!

I once used “Big Boy” as an essay for my AP class. It shocked the students!!

Two "T"s in Mallett . . . but I give him my deep thanks too. Nobody does it better.

And then Mrs. Olsen gave Caufield a stare that was left intentionally blank.
