About to go nova? Well, when you gotta go, you gotta go…

Well, that’s a bent beak…

They maybe Cardoodles but they came from the Endtown reality. They are two realities blended into one. Also they are still black and white in a Cinecolor reality. This isn’t home for them…..until they can separate the two realities.

This is utterly fantastic. Literally utterly fantastic.

It seems that this reality is already populated by Cardoodle versions of the plucky crew.. It took me a moment to realize that’s not “our” Alan!

From one crumbling reality to another that is about to fry? (Sun going Nova?) Hope they learn to enjoy their stay…for however long it may be!

Out of the frying pan …

Marx always seems to forget a few details…“time imparity”, sun going nova……little things

But “no va” means “no go”. So the sun has to go but can’t. The sun is constipated, and that’s the face you make for that.

So when do we get to see the zany antics of our favorite cat and mouse?

Will it even be possible to talk to Trixie without getting a bomb thrown at you?

And quiet is…“good”?…

Well, Marx…if Egbert Elephant was using his trunk as a snorkel, wouldn’t the bees go down his nostrils? These details could be important. They probably aren’t, but they could be. :-)

Time to kidnap Cracked Cat and shove some essence up him.

Assuming he is using the ‘short’ quintillion and not the ‘long’ quintillion British used to use, that is about 10^44 cycles per second, or about five cycles per Planck Time.

I don’t think our heroes find Marx nearly as amusing as he finds himself.

So we went from a sudden reuniting with current hero and his current family to a new quest, resulting in the death of said hero, still no idea what happened with his family (other than some dark Marxian overtones).

Now, Marx is the center of the universe with a whole new set of potential heroes, including at least one former arrogant topsider, apparently going through a bunch of comic books.

I appreciate the injection of some humor in this strip which, over time, has become extremely dark, gloomy, even gruesome.

Jim was not with us very long before he – and Sarah – were done away with. Wally had been around for a relatively long time, and his fate was even quicker than Jim’s.

And whatever we thought about Holly vs. Kirby, still, the sudden abandonment of both characters remains disturbing to this day.

Bottom line: While it may take Neathery half a month or longer to put out installments, it still feels like whiplash to me!

Other notes: So, apparently, we are in the comic book that our present heroes came from.

Okay.

Then why are the characters in this comic book in color, while our heroes are still in black-and-white – including Marx?

HOME?? Oh yeah, home. It’s been sooo long since we’ve been there, I have forgotten wherever it was. Lol!!

That’s gotta sting.

There’s Egbert, Alan’s Cardoodle counterpart. Will our group be able to interact with this reality? Will Egbert be able to see them, and can Alan and Egbert converse? If they can…will we (and Duffy) find Skeeter (who was Duffy’s brother Benny)? That could be rough.

Really? I’ve been gone for a week and no update? Come on!

I look almost every day …. but I resolved to expect updates Bi-weekly….

this new format really sucks! that is what I can read of it…..black and white, four or less panels, bigger definately would be a welcomed return

Starting to worry about Aaron’s health. I think we’d like an update on that as much as a new installment.
