Package store? What the heck is that? We call them liquor stores up here. The package stores I know of are Fedex and UPS stores where you can get the packing you need and ship.
When I was a kid a liquor store was called a package store. These days it is a place where you can drop off prepaid packages to be picked up by UPS, FedX, etc.
