Best of all, (at least for me) it’s my last day of work before my 2-week vacation! I don’t have to go back to work again until August 30th! I’m counting down the hours now.

It’s nice to see that Oliver isn’t all sweetness and love, especially where Chesney is concerned.

I had Susan drop off a kitty yesterday after PetCo. She was in the shelter for 3 weeks then 3 at PetoCo. She’s a small, white one with a black tail and some black on her head. She’s VERY sweet, very quiet. We have no idea why she hasn’t been adopted. She loves petties, having her head rubbed, sitting on my lap, etc.

Might be better if you don’t get to its other parts, Oliver.

All but the Creamsicle are WWII holidays. I read recently that the Navaho code talkers weren’t the only Native Americans to do this. A number of other tribes including the Cherokee provided code talkers. That piece of information should be talked about more widely. And happy vacation! May the weather be great, and the chore list short.

Sheesh, Chesney, cut the kid some slack! I think Oliver’s version of “Mary Had a Little Lamb” is quite amusing. (There are far worse versions out there.) On another note, saw two chickadees, a robin, and five dragonflies while out walking today.

Yeah, Chesney! There is nothing more than I would love than Oliver reciting anything! I just love him so much!!!
