What would be an example question where one can respond “charmingly true”? Just wondering!

Unfortunately, these are objective questions, so your subjective emphases will not bring you extra marks, Patty!

Does “understandably false” mean she understands the question, or understands why people get it wrong?

If it were Marcie sitting in front of her, she’d say, “You’re weird, sir.”

P Patty definitely brought the class average down, just like the slacker students in college that you loved to have in your section to help increase the good old curve for everyone’s grades.

Too bad for her that it is an Essay Test.

I would suggest Patty try studying instead of… this… but she’s probably got some learning disability for which the treatment (if that’s the right word) in the 70s was ineffective. At least it’s only grade school.

The teacher has crowled under the desk,muttering—“I never saw that little girl in my life….”

I used to give True/False correction tests that minimized guessing. If a statement was false, the student had to say why and rewrite the statement so it would be true. … i got some very creative answers occasionally.

That’s quite a vocabulary for someone who once got a Z-minus on a test.

I wouldn’t worry about it, Franklin. Even with a 50/50 chance you’re bound to do five times as well as Peppermint Patty.

She may get a D- minus in everything else, but Peppermint Patty is definitely going for an A in adverbs!

At least she’s not flipping a coin like Calvin once did.
