Aside from her acting in Grease, the only song I really knew Ms. Newton-John in was being the backing vocals in “Fly Away” by John Denver (1943-1997). What a musical legend she was.

THERE it is, at last. (I must constantly be reminded that this is a newspaper strip, not a Internet comic.)

Publicly, she was many men’s fantasy girl, myself included, a great singer and a very good woman involved involved in so many important issues of our time. Privately, she seems to have been well thought of by so many. I would like to have known her…..

Magic is my favorite song by her. Her earlier songs I love too.

Busy week and just now catching up on comics. Very nice Mr. Trap! It was sad to hear she had left us even a bit more disappointing for me as it was my birthday.
