Between “Ethan met his future daughter when he was a child” and “Marigold only met Phoebe because she was cursed to”, this strip is getting weirdly existential.

That troll was probably just trolling!

When I die, I volunteer my email to be a dumping ground for chain mails. Can’t curse someone who’s already dead.

“Just before I met you,a troll put a curse on me.”

If you do not like being cursed by trolls….

…then stop spending so much time on social media and in comment sections.

Oooohhh This totally reminds me of the time I got that FBI ransomware virus on my laptop and they threatened to put you under arrest if you don’t pay, but what they really do is prevent you from accessing your files and some types of ransomwares puts a curse on you by deleting all your files if you don’t pay or try to remove it.

I think Marigold simply got a spam scroll with the previous FW’s it seems like it is infected with a type of magic unicorn malware.

And yes this whole scroll scenario was clearly inspired by malicious emails or texts.

Marigold, meeting Phoebe was one of the best thing in your life. Tha was no a curse!

That’s an oddly specific curse.

But Marigold she is cute!

I keep expecting Marigold to get hit in the face with a key lime pie out for revenge.

Curses may lead to you being foiled again.

I knew there had to be a reason Phoebe saw through Marigold’s shield of boringness! Troll curses can do that.

“Troll”? Marigold is being facetious.

Sounds like a Sphynx cat.

Oh, dear….

Even if that “curse” turned out for the best, it demonstrates a likelihood that curses by fantastic beings aren’t just powerless words. And the one threatened on this scroll probably wouldn’t be good news.

Curses are like any spell a voice activated program that follows orders. Curses produce a negative reaction in probability. Which means someone else gets the reverse.
