Personally – though I marvel at technology and enjoy many of it’s benefits – I’m sickened by the replacement of human interaction and discourse with ever-increasing isolation and things like “social” media. Half the people I know can barely hold up their end of a casual conversation; and where I live, looking someone directly in the eye will get you shot in the forehead.
