Perhaps it’s best to switch to decaf after the hearings.

It’s sort of boring listening to everyone get their opinion “on the record”, so they can do whatever they want off the record.

Luncheon in the Members’ Dining Room is enough to make anyone fall asleep.

What do you think hearings are for if not to catch up on your sleep? Otherwise you might not be fully alert for important things, like lobbyists coming by with contributions to your retirement fund.

“Everybody does”, doesn’t make it right.

This was before cell phones. Now everyone checks their phone. Same amount of interest in the program as sleeping.
