That’s my plan! I am not a slave to their schedule… well, except for having to wait weeks to watch it…

Should I worry that I’m finding in the same spot as Roy ? Hyped yet extremely annoyed to wait for all episodes to be released …

I do that with shows on Hulu, Prime, Netflix, etc. Otherwise you’re paying more than one month for one show. Just did that for Murders in the House.

I don’t watch much TV, and there are only a handful of series I got into. Several I batch watched after they finished their initial run. RINGS OF POWER I am currently following as it airs.

I read the book, Fire & Blood. Meh, it didn’t draw me in like a good book will. I had no problem putting the book down to do laundry. I have no desire to see the series. Plus the fact that I don’t own a TV might have something to do with it.

I prefer one episode at a time. For some reason deferred gratification works. It may be the result of growing up with only OTA TV with weekly episodes.

Does it bear any relation, whatsoever, to J.R.R. Tolkien’s work? Going by what was done, multiple times, to LOTR, I doubt it so much as to be totally uninterested.

I think Roy’s cheating. He is not wasting any time on the series until he gets all the reviews in. I’m not watching for another reason, I don’t want to give Amazon any of my money.

If he’s really a Tolkien fan, he is going to be extremely disappointed by what Amazon has done.
