Reality check

I thought that only counted if you said it out loud.

It just got worse.

“Cheer up” they said “It could be worse”. So.. I cheered up. And sure enough, things got worse.

…and now I’M havin’ a nightmare!

The play itself was poetry – stanza after stanza – it got verse and verse.

Oh it can get worse….2nd graders playing “Twinkle,Twinkle Little Star” on violins……….

It could be raining.

I went to my 50th reunion. I was the only one without grandchildren. AND I was the only one who had never been to a day care graduation, a pee-wee soccer game, or a middle school jazz band concert. So much for the joys of being a grandparent—

Guilty as charged on the ‘dream guy’ but ONLY if that person was IN my dream. But, after a couple tries and SMH looks, I learned my lesson.

Could be the school band. :)
