NO! Ruthin, like most precious children doesn’t listen properly to people. I think her Mum is correcting her for her own sanity as much as for anyone else.

Fossil Arm sounds exactly the same as False Alarm. How could Ruthie’s mom tell them apart?

It’s a listening method. Repeat what the other says to show that you hear them. I use the word correctly in a sentence so as to not sound like a know-it-all.

Being a Mom is also about teaching the use of language – and not just swear words. (I wish I were kidding.)
