I’m reminded of when my daughter calls tea “boiled leaves”. She’s not wrong.

“Leaf Broth”. Some friends and I spent a little time over drinks deciding that’s as accurate as we were gonna get. Outside of calling it “Tea”, of course.

Try explaining cigarettes. Bob Newhart did a great job many years ago. Grow and harvest plants with big leaves, dry the leaves, then crush them and roll them up in a small piece of paper. Now, comes the weird part. Set fire to the leaves and breathe in the smoke.

You do NOT want to know about Kopi luwak coffee, Eddie. Trust me.

If it were my kid, Eddie would have to add a couple of steps to get it right: brew a pot (extra strong), then place it in the refrigerator to chill overnight. Then drink it black and ice cold the next day.

Oh, just remembered — gotta go brew a pot for tomorrow. Glad this strip reminded me.
