“No news is good news” should be replaced by “No news is bad news that is pending, buffering, or improperly uploaded.”

Ah the old news adage prevails: If it bleeds it leads.

No advertising money in “good” news.

The news is the news. If it’s happening, it ought to be reported. If it affects how we live, it ought to be reported. If it’s opinion, it’s not news and should be labeled as such. But the news isn’t there to make you feel warm and fuzzy, just to let you know what’s going on.

This is why I stopped following the news. I need a news site that’s truthful and has a balance between doom and rainbows.
