I miss Jolly Ranchers being made down on Ward Road near me. You could drive by and smell the flavors. I havenât wanted one since they closed the factory and moved.
Are you still down by Ward Rd. ? Â I am up in Boulder. Mail at the profile.
Very unrealistic. If they thought there was a dangerous offender, they swoop in with 15 police cars to capture one person in my city. It typically takes 4 hours from a 911 call to get the cops to show up because they are all doing paperwork on the jaywalking university student they treated like a dangerous offender, you are on your own against the 20 person teen gang beating the living daylights out of you.
Monty lives in Lethbridge? (The Lethbridge Police Service beat the hell out of a woman in a stormtrooper outfit complete with plastic blaster. Outside a comic book store. That she was advertising for.)
A little aside from the joke, but a few years ago a young man killed his mother.
The cops had blocked the streets. Thatâs OK but, they also had all of this military âgearâ like a very large armored personal carrier, complete with a sharp-shooter at the ready, a command quarters truck, and about a gazzillion cops. They spent at least an hour, if not longer, waiting to use their military stuff.
Hereâs the good part. My neighbor came home as all of this was going on. Now my neighbor was good friends with the older brother. My neighbor says âI better call the cops. I just saw him walking down Woodburn street.â Woodburn Street was maybe 3/4 of a mile away from where the cops were. I donât know if the cops ever caught him.
Cops donât need military stuff. It makes them stupid.
It is, in a convoluted way, good to see that the Cheesequake cops have nothing better (or more pressing) to do than to chase after Halloween triviaâŠ.
