No duh, Jason, when it comes to your mother’s overnight raw chicken (I leave my frozen chicken, frozen fish fillets, any frozen meats in a bag in the fridge so I can be ready to use it the next day).

Naaah. No one will try to put life lessons into the comics.

A mother’s sarcasm is rarely noticed.

Mother was thawing a frozen raw chicken in the sink once. My sister inadvertently knocked a bar of soap into the water. This was our first introduction to pizza.

A chicken in the raw is only acceptable off panel.

Don’t bother him, he won’t bother you.

Could be worse; I mean at least it’s meat. How often has she imposed some tofu abomination on them?

(BTW, I always – most recently 3 nights ago – put the frozen meat for dinner in the sink the night before, and leave it there until time to cook; have been doing so for almost 50 years, with no problem. Wouldn’t go much longer, though.)

Now you know what that feels like.

The good thing about salmonella is that you can lose weight.

Might not have been a bad idea. We might all have learned something then.
