Perusing the local medical library I discovered the medical industry uses arbitrary, subjective, biased or unproven measures defining “health”. Medical care should be a human right, not a commercial venture. Happy trails!
Going to the doctor for obsessive compulsive and anxiety disorders and being told your new medication may cause uncontrollable suicidal thoughts. Even though it may be true, they probably shouldn’t say that to people in such a vulnerable state.
I worked for a medical association at one time where part of my job was reading medical studies from the scientific journal to decide if they should be press releases. For a hypochondriac like me it was akin to being the kid under the covers with a flashlight reading Tales from the Crypt.
Some are in cahoots with the pill business! I dread all the tv commercials that spend so little time telling what the meds will do and most of the commercial time about the terrible side effects.

Does anyone else get the feeling that some doctors give us stuff just to make sure they stay in business?

If your doc were Ronny Jackson, you could have him say your health is whatever you want it to be.

My understanding is that each extra 24 hours of sleep per week adds one day to your life time, give or take 60 minutes.

It looks like Monty’s cranky cafeteria woman went to medical school.

A comedian once said something like, you don’t know you’re sick until to see a doctor.
