I checked “spork” on Urban Dictionary. I blushed for one of the definitions.

I have no problem with plastic utensils, as long as they’re sturdy and don’t break with the slightest pressure.

I’m sure that Brutus was just being thrifty at the time and it was a “guy” thing so he shouldn’t be scolded about it from the boss.

No plastic sporks at this one, but you do have to eat standing next to the cart unless you can find an available park bench.

I’ve noticed my favorite buffet, a Golden Coral, has gone to plastic utensils. So, I guess I’ll have to start bringing my own with me. I bought a stainless fork and knife for just such an occasion.

The boss is presuming upon facts not in evidence, though past performance is an indicator of future behavior.

If Veeblefester would pay our hapless hero a bit more (which will never happen) then he might be able to afford to eat someplace with real dining utensils.

Remember – one man’s treasure is another man’s trash. I often eat with my hands, Ole’ Fester would faint dead away. Eat hearty Brutus.

At least Brutus was nice enough to ask that horrible man to join him for lunch, even if a spork might be involved.

Good ole Brutus Thornapple, to him fine dining means not only plastic dinnerware, but an individually wrapped Wet One to clean his face and hands with afterward.

I think that the word plastic was redundant. I’ve never anything other than plastic sporks.

A No, would have sufficed. However, some of the best food that I have ever eaten were from eateries on 4 wheels and with plastic utensils …..

Chief will go to his $50 3 martini lunch and Brutus will get the $9.98 blue plate special at the local dive and guess what – the end product will be the exact same!

Are fish and chips available there, Brutus? Or egg drop soup? Both would be good and energizing today.
