When those things were first introduced, there were a LOT of accidents. i haven’t heard anything lately though.

Too right.

We don’t get good sledding snow until January. Just like almost every year for the past century.

In the right conditions the electric scooters are way more gut-spasmatic than any snow and ice covered hill can ever be.

I suspect that e-scooter – pedestrian collisions are much less common than one-person accidents involving the riders themselves. Though I wonder which produces the most serious injuries. . .

This is good and reminds me of a similar Calving arc. Great expectations doomed by Nature.

Yeah, the pedestrian cross walks at the lights are a particular kill zone that the scooters target.

We certainly are getting enough snow for sledding now thanks to global warming.

White oaks. Beautiful trees; fantastic lumber; curvaceous leaves. Too bad, though, that the leaves are such a drab, dull shade of light brown. Like a wart on Margot Robbie. (Or something like that.)
