We are getting wind, rain and snow tomorrow. The Strip won’t get snow, its at 800 feet above sea level, but I’m at 2300 feet. Bad part, my trash can is out in front, pick up day tomorrow. I’ll bet it tips over. And so will everyone else’s, so I’ll be picking plastic bottles and newspaper out of my bushes. Why do we only ever get wind on trash day?
ELECTION DAY. Finally! No more political ads on TV where candidates on both sides try to tell us why we should not vote for the other one. They never give reasons we should vote for them. I hope my choice of candidates win, though.

The day inspires kids to explore and pursue their interests in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. S.T.E.A.M.- based franchise features four super smart girls who are part of a super-secret spy organization called NOV8 (that’s “innovate”).
Very funny Ches, I don’t remember this one. Got my booster and flu shot yesterday, still feeling okay at 3 am but decided to stay up after viewing the eclipse expecting those side effects to kick in sometime today. Terrible winds overnight, calm now but expecting them to return along with (hopefully) some good rain and maybe snow.
We left Albuquerque at exactly 5 AM yesterday. When we stopped for breakfast around 9, we decided to drive straight home. 13.5 hours later we pulled into the garage.Going through one area of NM, those troopers were out in force. We saw 18 wheelers pulled over every mile for a while.Traffic was ok until we hit Vegas. Just past Hoover dam there was a sign about an accident near Eastern and the delay would be 41 minutes. By the time we got through it, their time was pretty much on point. I don’t know how they do that.Got home, unpacked, sorted mail, kissed the cats, and got one load of laundry done. We both slept like babies.Diane brought in seven packages and boxes for me and I have to sort thru those, do the banking, more laundry, startwrapping up the CostCo cookies I take to businesses, sort out the quilts I’m taking to our little craft fair at the start of Dec.Hair and nail appointments on Thurs.
Very funny, Chesney. Hopefully, those dogs can take a joke. On another note, saw Ten Geese flying in a flock, two Steller’s jays, and three varied thrushes while out walking today.
