Hahaha, I remember when Big Mouth Billy Bass was popular. That singing fish was everywhere. It was crazy how obsessed people were.

Hello Cathy friends! Happy Tuesday! Back to reality… have a great day, all!

Amazingly, I managed to resist the temptation to have a fake singing fish.

Never had a singing fish myself but did see one in action. Funny the first time but the 100th????

Another day with above freezing temperatures. No new ice huts out there so I imagine there are a lot of people just waiting for the ice to be declared safe again. I can see 4 huts where I can usually see over 100 so definitely not a good start to the ice fishing season.

Please have a nice warm day today – even if the temperatures are cooler than you like.

Yeah—I remember when the Big Mouth Billy Bass fish things were popular. Never saw the point, personally, but that’s just me. Did Billy Mays advertise ’em, or am I losing it?

    HI, MOM. Hello, Clan.

Lord, how I hated those fish. It was a natural development after a sound synthesizer was put on a chip. The tinny, little singing greeting card was about as tacky as it got.

For a while, synthesized speech was all the rage. You had to listen to the cash registers reading out their tallies in their “Stephen Hawking” imitation. Many people took to resting with their hand over the speaker, while waiting for the bagged groceries. People who had thought that terrible modem sound was satanic had not realized how well off they were.

Now, of course, we have more “natural” synthesized voices. I have noticed both Google Assistant and Siri adding little, unnecessary and annoying post-interaction comments. Please stop. It is not a person; you could fire a person who did that.
