Poor Wally. Even in his sleep those nasty badgers pester him.

Wally you’re so cute

Keep beating that dead horse.

I wonder if Wally and Spitsy (dog from a different GC comic) go to the same dog park. They evidently speak the same language. (wurf, wurf, wurf.)

Wally is vigilant, even when asleep. GOOD DOG!!

Mine can be in a deep sleep, snoring, and if anyone touches the latch of his treat jar, be suddenly wide awake and sitting at their feet awaiting his reward.

And I wonder why my neighbor’s dog barks while I sleep.

They should let you go outside to check once in a while, Wally!

Just say “It’s okay, Wally.” And he’ll calm right down.

Wally has badger anxiety

With my chihuahua Oscar we call it “blooping”. he’ll be lying there and start making a bubble-popping sound like a “bloop” several times. That’s when we know he’s chasing to pesky racoons outside. Bloop! bloop bloop!

My dog woofs sometimes in her sleep. I always thought she was dreaming; now I know it was about badgers.

Does that constitute a nightmare for dachshunds?

One of our neighbors had a Daxie… We all loved that dog!

I’m waiting for one to be at the Animal Shelter so we can adopt that same kind of dog.

Wally needs a guard dog.

Wally, you better hope you never come across a wild badger, especially a honey badger. Cuz it will beat the crap out of you!
