I have done that. Drive to the gym, get there, sit in the car for a minute, then go to the restaurant down the street. Some days, I just wasn’t as motivated as I should have been. Thinking about joining a gym in the new city we moved to. All I have to do is find one near a decent restaurant.

Depends on how he’s getting to and from the gym If he’s walking there and back, then he is making progress.

Is the gym next door to a fast food place?

Pig is way ahead of me. Best I ever managed was to drive past a gym.
Quickly.

’Best thing I ever did was start calling our “John” by a new name: “Jim”.
Then ’most every day I can proudly announce, “I went to the Jim today!”

I don’t get the aversion to exercise? I like weightlifting and don’t like missing my gym time. I don’t like running, but I play pickleball for cardio.
What I do dislike about the gym is those inconsiderate twits who don’t wipe equipment down when they’re done.

How many times has Pig set ludicrously low exercise goals in a strip? I think the strip may be running out of ideas.
