We used to go to a holiday musicale every year, but this year the hosts moved to Florida and several other group members moved away. I can’t sing in tune, but I could play most of the carols on the harmonica. They were my wife’s friends, not mine, but I’m sorry she lost a favorite activity. She’s a good singer and can do harmony.

Pitchy and off-key is one thing, but why is ‘We Wish You a Merry Christmas’ a poor song selection?

At least they didn’t sing “All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth.”

Critic = blind person interpreting; beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, or a deaf person rating an opera. Those people know if you look for the worst of anything you will find it, but looking for beauty means opening your soul to the possibilities of nature’s gifts; it scares the critics to death.

Funny how so many people expect good reviews and responses from EVERYTHING they do but don’t even blink about being a keyboard coward/obliviot
