Familia futbolista. (The longest Spanish words I’ve ever learned are “aproximadamente” and “el ácido desoxirribonucleico.”)

In English, we get to hear, “He shoots, he scores for a case of Tastykakes!” during broadcasts of Philadelphia Flyers hockey games. Tastykake is like Hostess cakes, but far better.

The Babylon Bee had a lot of good articles for the World Cup. My favorite was because Qatar had banned beer sales, fan were forced to just watch soccer.

Happened to be in a Taqueria when Argentina scored a goal near the beginning of the World Cup. Patrons, and even the cooks in the back, howled along with TV… Gooooooooooooooooooooooooll!

I’ve become a soccer fan since the World Cup games came on. Their foot work, body movement, and head shots are quite impressive!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present Andres Cantor. His son(?) Nico now carries on the family tradition.

Fun fact: the longest one admitted by the RAE in their dictionary (Real Academia Española, the ones who look after ortography and grammar rules, and who make the official dictionaries) is “electroencefalografista”.
