When I was in college I saw a guy try to open a tube of Crazy Glue with his teeth and literally glued his mouth shut. After I stopped laughing uncontrollably, I helped him get loose.
When I took up woodcarving my adult children were concerned that knives and minimal depth perception might not be a great idea. I’ve never seriously cut myself. But sometimes it’s necessary to super glue back a piece, or projects need to be done in separate pieces and be glued together at the end.You can’t mend broken eyeglass frames with glue. That was one of my minor mistakes. Now the children sharp knives are much safer than a tube of glue
I know that feeling Clayton. I did that in an art class, and the instructor won the bet with the other shop personnel that I would be the first one to super glue my hands and not what we were supposed to be gluing. A 9 year old came in second.
I have an angel ornament which has been sitting in our dining room since we took the tree down last year as it needs to be reinforced – still not touched.

Better than hot-gluing the Magi’s head to your thumb instead of his shoulder. Don’t ask.

You have to admire Clayton’s stick-to-it-iveness.

That’s what you get for using chemicals. Stick to duck tape. Little tiny duck tape.

I accidentally glued my right index finger and thumb together while building a model. I did get them apart but in the process I lost some skin.

You gotta leave antler re-gluing to the professionals, kid! Got any corn starch? Never mind! I’ve got my stash in the car!
