I heard that in the book, the Ghost of Christmas Past was described with such a confusing appearance, the first illustrator refused to even try to draw it. Something about it being hard to tell if it had ten legs or just one.
Actually we have seen Marigold with Phoebe at Christmas before. As Phoebe was nine and has now turned ten, we must assume that they were all the same Christmas.
“You have never seen the like of me before!” exclaimed the Spirit-corn.
“Never,” Phoebenezer made an answer to it.
“Have never walked forth with the younger members of my family; meaning (for I am very young) my elder sisters born these later years?” pursued the Phantom-corn.
“I don’t think I have,” said Phoebenezer. “I am afraid I have not. Have you had many sisters, Spirit-corn?”
“More than eighteen hundred,” said the Ghost.
“A tremendous family to provide hay for!” muttered Phoebenezer.
It appears Marigold may have other sisters besides Florence Unfortunate Nostrils.

So they could travel to the past literally, but wouldn’t it be much more fun to see it view master style?XD

Looks like Mari’s horn has got a bit twisted. Unicorns have prehensile horns?

If you don’t change your ways, Phoebe, nothing will happen!

I think I can see how the encounter with the Ghost of Christmas Present is going to go.
.
“Human child! Did you know that it will be Christmas soon?”
“Yeah.”
“Excellent! …would you happen to have any artisanal hay?”

This isn’t Marigold. See the novel:
“You have never seen the like of me before!” exclaimed the Spirit-corn.
