While Pasquale’s away (in school),the parents will play

Oh, what fun they are having, Can I come back reincarnated and them as my parents? Well, it was a nice though anyway.

THIS is why I LOVE this comic strip! Such good, clean fun! (I want to slide down a snow-covered hill, too, and I’m 70 years old!)

Playing in the snow – it’s like you’re a kid again.

As soon as/if we get snow…..I’m there!!

I love Rose and Jimbo! They make me want to go toboganning.

Nothing like snow to bring out the kid in everyone.

Have fun while you’re still young at heart…

I refuse to grow up!

Not at all even close. They still have to have a snowball fight, make a snowman, make snow angels, and build a fort. (Not necessarily in that order.)

What a fun ‘toon today; I love doing this and I’m 74!

The experience is sheer fun for all of us. The art of growing young when having such fun is a masterpiece by Don and Pat.

Looking at each panel reminds me of when I was much younger and was able to do such things. I think the last time I was actually playing in snow was when I was in my early 20’s and it was me, my then boyfriend, who is now my ex husband, his mother and his younger brother and we had a massive amount of snow and we spent hours outside playing in the snow and having snowball fights and building a snowman and when we went in the house all cold my parents had nice cups of hot cholcate waiting for us. Such fun and good memoreis. Today I can’t even walk in snow without falling to due poor health and hard time getting around.

Forever Young.

When they do call it a day, they will head in by the fireside with mugs of cocoa with marshmallows.
