Seventy-seven…..

It’s not the wind chill in the winter you have to watch out for. It is the heat index in the summer. The temperature may be 95 but the heat index may be 106.

Yes, there is a little chill in Florida right now! I have friends visiting there for Christmas.

I heard that the guy who invented the wind chill factor died recently. He was 84 but felt like 65.

My stepdaughters are visiting us here in Florida….from Germany. They wanted to lay out by the pool. I think not. (38 degrees here).

These last couple of days have been the coldest weather we have suffered since we moved to Atlanta area more than 20 years ago.

As of 8:30 am, Key West is 56F.

PLEASE!!! Central FL here: it’s 26 this morning. . .I’m in my woolies, and have the heating pad on. . .

We had wind chill of -50 last week!

Here in East Virginia it was -10 yesterday.

Oh, guys, stop complaining. It’s not the heat, it’s the humidity.

In my New Jersey years, Mom’s neighbor spent the winters in Florida. I’d check out his house on Sundays. When he’d call, he’d ask about the weather, followed by “It’s 80° here!”

It got a little irritating. Now that I’m in southern Arizona, I keep quiet when communicating with New Jersey friends.

87 F, and sticky humid.

I wonder why they never mention the wind chill effect of hurricanes.

8º C and rain all week here in Comox Valley, BC. No snow and what snow there is is all melting away.

There may still be the iguana fall this Xmas there, but still, no four foot snow.
