Perhaps it was Ingrid Bergman (or not) who complained to Alfred Hitchcock that she just wasn’t feeling the emotion he wanted her to project, so he told her “Fake it”.
That is what I do. I used to get embarrassed talking in groups of 5 or more. Then I found acting and realized that if I pretended I was someone else then I could talk in front of hundreds without breaking a sweat. (I have never performed in front of thousands, just small venues and church.)
Oh, yeah! We all get older but some things stay just the same anyway. What a truly “dad” thing to say, no matter his or Marcus’ age. Very funny just for being human, honestly. Love it!
