Is Pig a jockey or a running back?

“Certainly. I’ll just use my invisible phone here and talk to everyone in the world. Hey, guys, would you all please slow down for Pig?”

And Pig would actually believe it.

It would be nice if companies that buy thousands of houses slowed down. It would be nice if houses were more affordable.

or keep pace with yourself Pig…

The Lord is the great I am, and I’m the great I ain’t.

Or Pig could be just like Pastis, and simply be good at what he does, and not worry about comparisons.

Why do you need to stay ahead of the other guy to make money? I’ve been making money all my working life and haven’t “stayed ahead” of anybody as far as I can remember.

Pig, try grifting

Pig, your wish is right up there along with the likes of: “Stop the world. I want to get off now.”

Remember “I’ve been down so long; it looks like up to me”!

Why do you need to “stay ahead of the other guy”? Look inward, assess your talents and ambitions, and don’t worry what the “other guy” is doing.

You know if Pig was creative, he could simply push old “Wise @ss” off of the mountain and take his place. I am kind of surprised that Rat did not do that already!

One shouldn’t judge one’s success by comparing oneself to others. That’s Pig’s problem right there.

Maybe if they lowered prices for food, power and housing.

It’s only a rat race if you race with rats. No point in trying to keep up or surpass the Joneses. You only frustrate yourself. Psychiatrists make a lot of money because of that frustration.

Actually, to make money, you have to be disciplined.

If everyone is ahead of you, turn around and go the other direction, so you’re ahead of everyone, and getting further ahead.

I can’t help but to wonder: Is the Great Wise (I can’t write the word) sitting on a heap of dirt, or is it a pile of you-know-what?

Wisdom never comes from the acquisition of money. For you to make money, someone by definition has to lose his or her money. How you or anyone accomplishes that is the great moral question ….

PIG is not motivated, so therefore he’ll always be behind….Wise A$$ on the hill should have given him advice on how to get going…he’s been lazy lately in his advice…

That’s not true. People can make money by doing the bare minimum.

Has Pig ever worked?

In a town north of Austin (Round Rock?) a new subdivision was going in with around 200 or so homes. A company bought all of the homes/lots in the subdivision and will making them rentals.

I’ve been wanting everyone else to slow down for years. Makes working to help them more of a challenge when the phrase ‘I want it done five minutes ago’ isn’t just an expression.

Stop focusing on the other guy. Just be happy with what you have and if you are not, decide what you want and go after it, once again, without looking at what someone else has. Go for what you want.

Many must do 80 MPH in a 70 zone and tailgate, so they can arrive at their 20 mile destination 2.14 minutes sooner.

As for me, I watch the rear too, and love to entrap an addicted lane changer behind me on 3-lane highways. Especially if they can’t get over to their exit. What glee. My cameras boost my psyche. But, the new Youtube NAZI censorship refuse to take my videos of those driver’s expressions.

Pig, why do you waste your time and effort, visiting the "Wise Ass On the Hill? He isn’t wise, and his bad advice just adds to your depression and self-deprecation….

Ha ha, this reminds of Cervantes’ Rosinante : “please slow down your donkey so that my trusty steed may catch up with you”.

Bring back the Crocs, Zeeba, Guard Duck and Cat, Wise A** on the hill stinks.
