    For some crazy reason panel 6 makes me think of Too-Ra-Loo-Ra-Loo-Ral (Thatā€™s An Irish Lullaby)

    ā™Ŗā™« Last night I heard my mama singing a song

    Ooh eee, chirpy, chirpy, cheep, cheep

    Woke up this morning and my mama was gone

    Ooh eee, chirpy, chirpy, cheep, cheep

    Chirpy, chirpy, cheep, cheep ā€“ chirp! ā™Ŗā™«

    Iā€™m lovin the visual of each birds mannerisms. & how theyā€™re all mesmerized/astounded/in awe in the last panel.

    I just learned of a flightless rail native to Tasmania which the locals call ā€œTurbo Chookā€ because they run so fast (chook means chicken, though they arenā€™t related). Imagine that!

    This was a great chance for Will Henry to have fun with lettering: I like panel 7 best for the coloring of the letters.

    Okay, folks, what bird calls or songs resemble Wallaceā€™s calls? I think 1 is your basic house sparrow, 2 is a Canada goose, 5 is an osprey up close and through a microphone, and 6 is a cardinal.

    Note that I said ā€œresembleā€ ā€” obviously these are all as heard through the wild imagination of Wallace.

    Too bad the dodo bird is extinct. But maybe the cuckoo will answer?

    If Wallace could record all the sounds , one over the other, It would be an interesting bird call.

    Probably some bird at some time in world history did something like what Wallace is doing. He just does it with more flair and aplumā€¦.

    Birds of a feather. I note the very small flockā€¦ of one.

    When I was a kid, some friends and I would practice cardinal calls. One kid couldnā€™t whistle so heā€™d just shout, ā€œFIO-FIO-FIO, FEETFEETFEETFEETFEET!ā€

    This was one of the first comics I read when it came out. I was a little late to the party

    hey guys im trying to write html code in gocomics. if anyone wishes to help me, go ahead! im just doing this for fun, btw, not to harm anyone. hereā€™s a python code too, just check it out. checks for the collatz conjecture:

    def collatz(n): steps = 0 while n != 1: if n % 2 == 0: n = n // 2 else: n = 3 * n + 1 steps += 1 return steps

    Example: check numbers up to 10000for i in range(1, 100000000000000000): print(f"Number {i} takes {collatz(i)} steps to reach 1")
