Great why to break it down Mom. Would you like the case opened? No thank you. I can get a manager for you. No thank you, I do Not Need razors this week.
Nice to see Wilberforce drawn in the back seat. Statistically safer back there, as long as the driver does what he or she can to keep an eye out for tailgaters.
I guess it is tough being a cashier nowadays. I just bought a couple of pillows and you have seen those security tags sticking out the side of a pillow which say âNot to be removed under penalty of law!â Well what would happen if the cashier who doesnât bother reading each tag actually removes the Penalty of Law tags at the cash register!?
Good rule to live by, though l doubt that any, tag, cage or Barb wire protected cubicle would prevent Mrs Brutus from buying ANYTHING that she really wantedâŚ..
So funny. But itâs weird to see some of the stuff they put those on. Kroger had teeth whitening kits in theft proof boxes. Are there people so obsessed with white teeth they would steal them? If they go missing just round up all the newscasters and young starlets and search their bathrooms!
Recently, I included a bottle of Bourbon in my weekly grocery order. They forgot to remove the âanti-theftâ gizmo lock covering the lid.
I took it as a challenge figuring that, between YouTube vids and my elaborate tool accumulation, I could handle the removal.
It was a mighty struggle. The easy-peasy You tube solutions wouldnât work. I finally won the day with the âsaws allâ, vice grips, and channel locks.
Bourbon is important stuff and I got a great feeling of accomplishment.
I once bought a dress for a night out and when I got home with little time to spare, the security tag, a magnetic one, was still on the dress. I didnât have time to take it back and wait for them to check my receipt, etc, so I decided to do it myself. It wasnât easy, but I did get it off, just barely in time.
I have a pertinent question. Why is Wilberforce riding in the back seat? He is obviously big enough and old enough to ride in the front seat. Perhaps he is preparing for his future wealth and paying his parents for driving him around?
copycatting is a thing in japan, usually just for dumb stuff thatâs been mentioned on tv, but also for crime. itâs been distressing to see so many stories about crimes involving knives over the past year (lots of attempted convenience store robberies), but thereâs also been an incredible increase in stories about shoplifting. the bizarre aspect has been that most of the stories have involved oldsters walking around the supermarket filling their pockets or shopping bag and then just strolling out. or, in a recent case, choosing some tasty looking sushi and a couple drinks, sitting down to dine in the break area, and then attempting to just sashay out the doorâŚ

not all security features get removed, some remain but are supposed to be deactivated during purchase

many relatively inexpensive items are âtaggedâ because they are frequently shoplifted â even though they donât cost a lot

Razor blades arenât cheap, but I still need them. Electric razors just canât cut it.

Should have bought them last week before they raised the price. The item didnât require a security tag ten. Oh well, such is life.

With recent inflation â security tags are being put on all sorts of basics

I noticed she carefully avoided the real reason, as a theft deterrent.

It means they canât afford security personnel.

Thatâs pretty sharp and observant for Wilberforce; the beginnings of a mall police careerâŚ
