After this week’s arc, I’ve come to the following conclusion: Trudeau hates class reunions.

Well he has starred in a leading comic strip getting national attention and celebrity status.

I think I will skip my 50th class reunion this spring, after reading this arc.

Zonker did befriend the Queen, later in life. A small accomplishment, i know. That’s why he wouldn’t brag about it.

I didn’t go to a college, except for a year or so at the local JC. I didn’t have an affair with Madonna or any other celebrity, but I think I’ve had a good life. The high school I went to has a very active alumni program. If you’ve reached the milestone of having graduated at lest 50 years ago, they have a luncheon every year with tours of the school and a chance to talk with classmates. A lot of the talk includes grandkids and I don’t recall much else. If there’s any bragging done, it’s who has the most!

Went to my 40th HS reunion. Interesting to see who was still around and how many weren’t. I’ve never been a “success” by media standards, but I still have home and health, so no worries about meeting others’ expectations.

Missed my 50th, because I wasn’t notified until 2 weeks after it happened. Hmm.

I’ve had a good enough life that I never have to lie or exaggerate (not even on the Internet). It’s hard to go to a reunion without some preconceptions. Inevitably, most of them will be disappointed. Very few achieve the dreams of youth. Fortunately, there are plenty of other dreams. :)

I’d be spending the entire reunion talking to Zonker about his shirt.

Zonk’s drink has a swizzle stick in it. I can’t remember ever seeing him drink alcohol before.

Last time I went to a reunion I discovered there really is a god…

All the girls that would never talk to me in high school were there and they were FAT!!!

I got on my high school reunion email list about 20 years ago. My family moved out of state a couple of months after I graduated so I hadn’t seen any of my classmates for nearly 40 years. One thing I noticed was that the reunion was run by the former student body office holders and Pep Club bigwigs. None of my friends were involved.

Was Z British Royalty at this point?

At one of my HS reunions, this same guy – or his clone – was in attendance. And was just as boring.
