So far at 62 I still feel as if I am middle aged. My dad, when he was alive, did it right. He said after 40 was when things started to go downhill for him.
Hey kids if you were asked this question just say the Middle Ages made us for what we are today. The Middle Ages helped to establish the Renaissance. And if it wasn’t for the Renaissance we would still be in the Dark Middle Ages today!
Spot on. Once I hit 40. I sped downhill. At 77, I can’t even see uphill. My wife is home – Hospice. Her Birthday is 31 Jan. I pray she makes it. Just a goal. The last 6 weeks have been devastating. Came back from our yearly Thanksgiving vacation to Myrtle Beach, S.C. Suffered terrible stroke. I just walk to walk away after she passes.
Getting old is really quite pleasant, except for the depleting bod, that is. But, even with the bod problems, I have all the time to recuperate. And when I die, none of those depletion’s will matter.
Middle Age is dropping something on the floor and then asking yourself how can I pick that up…old age is falling on the floor and spending half the day trying to knock your phone off the table to call someone to help you up.
Middle ages were the best. And while old age has it’s issues, l am enjoying my life in most aspects better than any other period before. Got the time, money and l can keep myself busy doing what I want to do, including this….
Hey teach, they never promised you a rose garden when you were studying to be a teacher. They probably never warned you about students like Wilberforce either.
“Hey, Pop-pop let’s camp out on the family room floor and binge watch The Tom Baker Dr. Who Blu-ray collection.” OH, TO BE TWEEN AGE AND FLEXIBLE AGAIN!!! ;-)

I’m surprised Gramma Gargoyle said that, what with the witch hunts and all.

To alleviate her pain, Grammie Gargoyle has opted to dump her unhappiness on her son-in-law.

i’d say that old age is just a state of mind, but then i’d only be admitting what a poor state my mind is in…
