New….hair!

Kevin wants to get through his academic career with Miles and Carla by his side. He can’t repeat the third grade.

I started 1st grade at 5 and didn’t keep up. After the 4th grade we moved to another state and I repeated 4th there. Nobody ever knew and I did well.

Would it not be cool if those two grew up a bit every now and then.

Instead of the one’s hair being turned white overnight out of fear…….brown? I vote NO! or at least fire your colorist

Finally a new story arc kicks off! Not that I minded given the last one was .. not my faviorite (Though the hair apparent arc was. It’s one of the best in the entire strip), but it’s nice to get back to story.

In 1945, my Aunt Betty was graduating from high school. At one point during their high school careers, my mom and uncle had each been kept back one year for skipping school together too often. That meant my mom would be graduating along with Betty, who was a year younger. My uncle (their brother) was an additional year older, but my grandmother convinced their principal to keep my uncle back an extra year so that all three could graduate together. The point of my story is that my uncle, graduating two years later than he should have, suffered no stigma because of it, did well in college and became a vice president of one of the larger banks. One of my favorite family pictures is hanging in my dining room, of the three siblings standing together, in their caps and gowns.

Miles definitely has the focus, here. Which I guess is nothing new, Kevin is a bit spacey, yes?
