I’m going to be contradictory to the majority here. I believe that actions speak louder than words (or, in this case, thoughts). Dee Dee is not wrong in feeling how she does during this arc. She has wanted to be a star all her life and to have her friend chosen over her has to hurt. She cannot help how she feels. And that doesn’t make her a bad person; it makes her human. To date, she has not tried to sabotage Chad in any way. She;s even encouraged Chad, despite her feelings. She would only be a bad person if she tries to sabotage him.
if Nate sabotaged them to make himself the hero, that’s a bad person. But quietly hoping for it but still doing the right thing doesn’t make one bad…. just human.
this happened to me. I didn’t know the guy that well, but I was pretty jealous. (everyone was) it’s over now, and I don’t really care now, because I don’t really need to worry about getting an acting opportunity when I would rather do other things. message of the story is that we all get jealous, it doesn’t make us bad people as long as we don’t act on that jealousy. Nate is still in the wrong here, but I’m hoping all of you are not hoping your friends are failures.

Artur would have been a better example. He’s the poster boy of a male Mary Sue.
5.5/10 Auditions, please!!!
