I just was reading the archives from 2000-I didn’t read this strip back then. It was Calvin and Hobbes and Luann. Anyway, Wanda was born in 1965 so that makes her almost 60. The good Lord was good to her and gave her such GREAT aging genes.
Now what, I wonder, has become of the boy’s new-found discipline and serenity from his martial arts training that we saw a few weeks ago? While it tormented his older sister, it ought to foster patience in dealing with his younger one — if only he would embrace it as a means to practice his art.
Ahh, the unconditional love and adoration of the younger sibling. Enjoy it while you can Hamish, it will soon turn to rivalry like you have with Zoe. Like to see some flash backs with Hammie and Zoe when he was Wren’s age. Sure he bobbed her name to something; probably ‘oe’.
I love that Wren is finally getting to the point that she can interact more with her siblings. It’s going to be fun finding out what type of personality she has and how it will be in the strip. Hammie is still my favorite character though! :D

If mom can get Zoe to do the cooking, she can have the day off.

With me it’s take the dogs for a walk, over and over again. And they still go on the rug!

This is rerun time. Two weeks off each year for Kirkman and Scott to write new strips. Gonna be an awful long two weeks…

When a little kid takes a shine to you like that, powerful mixed feelings will definitely follow.
