Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Aw, heck! That spa thing sounded like something I would do to Ten Cats Inn to enjoy, but then they spoiled it when they mentioned the garden hose. It’s too cold for that!
We unboxed our auction stuff. Biggest haul ? 5 Annalee Santas! 3 of them were 24" and a Gingerbread Boy. I’ve never seen one of those except in books! The other biggie was a very large 22" long Rosenthal Swan. Not sure what or how I’m going to sell that. The shipping alone… Anyway the total cost for everything was $180. There were 133 items all told.
NATIONAL HUMAN TRAFFICKING AWARENESS DAY. I wish we could put an end to this!
NATIONAL MILK DAY. I drink milk every day.
NATIONAL STEP IN A PUDDLE AND SPLASH YOUR FRIENDS DAY. We don’t have any puddles and even if we did, I would not do this to a friend. At least not in the dead of winter. They might not mind it so much on a hot summer day. BRING ON SUMMER! I"M READY FOR IT!
“I finished your book yesterday. I really enjoyed it. One thing that disappointed me a little is that there was no mention of Tara’ s Kindness essay. I was interested in what she wrote if she turned it in at all.”
Hmmm, that’s an interesting thought. I guess I didn’t tell what any of the kids wrote in their essays. Tara, being Tara (the “perfect” person she thinks she is) would certainly write an essay. I think her essay would say that she is such a sweet person (she does say she’s wonderful when she writes her limerick) and that she has just tons of friends and that she is going to have them all come over for this really awesome slumber party on her birthday. And they are all going to have a wonderful time because she knows how to treat her party guests really well. Words to that effect, I guess.
Thank you for buying my book. I’m glad you enjoyed it! My local library is ordering it. I’m very excited about that, too!
Is our poor Annie stuck with the phone bill? Has she ever seen Oliver in his cute little bellhop uniform? Is Rufous working the “spa”? The practical side of me wants answers!!
I think I was at that hotel years ago.My sewing cabinet arrived in Vegas and we’re going down to get it on Saturday. Now I have to get rid of my dining room table and chairs so I asked the HOA manager to put it (and a picture) in the newsletter as a freebie.
I think I may have stayed at that hotel. So true how they describe something wonderful and when you get there . . . .
I love how Graham drew the telephone in the first two panels. I thought for a second it was the head of a creature, maybe a cat except for the rounded ears, but then decided it was a mouse. Such sweet and clever drawings.
It will definitely be hydrating. Not so sure about wonderfully warm, though. Might be more like unpleasantly frigid, depending on the weather. On another note, saw seven chickadees and a raven while out walking today.

Are you going to pressure wash your clients? That will leave them clean, at least. But cold.

It’s February, Chesney. I think I’ll pass on the garden hose until July when it’s hot.

Everyone agrees that January is a chilly kinda time to be attaching up the garden hose! ;-)

I had my back go bad on me yesterday afternoon. Very bad.
It was so bad that i called 911 at 2:00am. The trip to the ER was absolute hell.
I’m home now (thank you Jenny) and i am going to try to get some sleep. I didn’t get much, if any last night.
I got steroids, muscle relaxers, and a mild pain pill. And a lidocaine patch. Somethings working. I can (shakily) stand and walk. Good night.
