Oh, great. Now I’m craving a sardine sandwich.

For breakfast I alternate between smoked salmon slices and sardines on whole wheat [with egg salad]. Packed in olive oil with lemon is best.

I’m not crazy about sardines; when I do get them, I get the skinless, boneless ones that cost an arm and a leg.

Lovable lunch logic-

I didn’t know sardine sandwiches were a real thing. I have to run out of the room whenever I encounter seafood of any kind. That smell!!!!

For lunch sometimes I’ll have sardines, in tomato sauce, on crackers with mayonnaise :-)

Never deliver food on an empty stomach. At least Oliver’s honest about it. (He also looks adorable in his bellhop uniform.) My brother likes sardines, but I’m not crazy about them. On another note, saw a varied thrush, a squirrel, eight golden crowned kinglets, and two robins while out walking today.
