Homework teaches all the wrong things: that work life balance isn’t important, that you’ll be punished if you don’t have a quiet and stable home with a parent capable of helping you, and a whole lot of other bad things. Math is the worst…I got advanced degrees and still had no idea what some of the stuff my kids brought home in elementary and middle school meant. And the average of not turning in a paper (a zero) and turning in a perfect paper (a 100) was a 50, which is an F. Turning in an F paper was a 50, averaged with a perfect paper was a 75, a C.
