I definitely believe they should have a price!

I doubt they buying public will cozy up to them at those prices.

Brutus would be viewed as a valued employee at my former employer and promoted with a title change without any pay increase!

He could lead many if not all of the projects we have in our practice…

Those people cannot make a decision – it’s “what does someone else feel” about it?

I’m quite surprised with bossman’s asking of Brutus for his appraisal of the pricing plan. It gave Brutus the chance to further improve his presentation to his employer. But, nooo, our Brutus showed. once again, that if you want a valued opinion, don’t ask him.

He’s covered all his bases but he’s definitely not the man for making the corporate decisions. All but guarantees his non promotion to management. Not all of us are cut out for that. However he’s good and loyal at doing whatever he does and that is his strength…..

I am sure it’s very reassuring to Veeblefester to know that he hasn’t gone amiss by not making it a habit to seek Brutus’ advice.

Brutus remains indicisive to avoid trouble….one way or the other.

The Boss asked Brutus for his opinion?! From his look in the last panel that was the last time he will make that mistake.

Brutus knows better than to give his boss a definitive answer, because no matter what he says, he’ll be wrong.

I think you’re all missing the point: This is actually a rare and special occasion where we get to see Brutus outsmart the boss.

Brutus knows that, in Veeblefester’s eyes, he can do no right. He’s well aware that Veeblefester would only ask his opinion so he can do the opposite (knowing Veeblefester, it might be the only reason he keeps Brutus around at all). So Brutus, by appearing to fall back on a non-answer, frustrates the boss and doesn’t fall into the humiliating trap.
