Can’t say I have ever thought that. Then again I am so old whenever I hear the word man used in this sort of way it just translates as gender neutral to me.

Either “oh, man,” “oh, boy” or “oh, brother.” Yeah always a male term. Hmmm.

I thought that until I married my hubby. He fixes things. When it comes to politics, OTOH, it fits.

What’s someone to think when they see a pink-haired middle-aged lady leaning up against a lamp post like that? Pick a better venue, Aunty.

And “Oh Boy!” when happy?

And “man oh man” when you’re excited.

Oh, man, Aunty’s gonna be arrested for soliciting again… ☺

I still refer to myself as a horseman and am far from offended when referred to as such : ) It is a job description more than a gender for me.

Auntie has been doing a lot of male-bashing lately. Don’t like it. Don’t mind the occasional stereotype joke, but it always seems to be weighted towards men. Women are the snarky ones, so how about a few lady-bashing jokes?

What’s the matter, Auntie, not getting any customers. Perhaps if dressed more sleazy.
