The thought of jelly and doughnuts I find more than a little nauseating… The natural accompagnement to doughnuts is obviously jam… preferably raspberry…

I really liked the chocolate covered, creme filled eclairs. But, that was during my HS days and I was still growing up, not out, as I am today. Ah, those were the days.

Personal rant: I don’t like raspberry. Cream and custard are great, but why not blueberry or cherry or strawberry or orange or etc. A long time ago you could occasionally find lemon filled doughnuts, and they were sort of ok. Let’s have some variety! End of rant.

I love raspberry-filled donuts, so I can definitely agree with Garfield there. Also, at least it’s not like the Calvin and Hobbes comic where Calvin’s mother offered him a jelly donut, but he turned her down, comparing it to eating giant squishy bugs.
