Dill and Alice’s minds have been blown.

It’s too hard for Petey to even think!

Alice and Dill are running inside because they don’t want to become baby werewolves!

The moon is taking all the attention away from Alice.

Night night….

Everyone, try to think of the first time in your life you saw the moon during the day and your reaction to it! I remember not reacting like Alice or Dill but was pleasantly surprised by the scene. It has to be one of the nicest memories of one’s childhood.

As usual, poor Petey, or not.

Relax, Alice, it’s just a partial moon. Now, if you saw a full moon in the middle of the day, that would be cause for alarm.

“Kiss me, Kate!”

It’s all just a dream.

It’s because the man in the moon could not read his Sunday comics in the dark.

The sun was shining on the sea,

Shining with all his might:

He did his very best to make

The billows smooth and bright —

And this was odd, because it was

The middle of the night.

Haven’t seen this Cul de Sac before! We love seeing the daytime Moon whether it’s a little fingernail waxing crescent or waning in the west while the sun is coming up. Our friend The Moon!

I saw the moon in the afternoon sky a couple days ago.

It amazes me hearing adults say “the moon only comes out at night”

Don’t worry Alice, it’s just the Man in the Moon getting a suntan.

The phases of the moon DO have it in the day sky at times, but this moon is drawn as the waning crescent, which is in the sky around 5:00 AM, and still dark.

But then it would also mean that in a few hours you get to have banana pancakes with maple syrup and bacon again! Sounds like a great day, er night, to me!

Petey, I feel your pain. It’s tough being the voice of reason in an age of outrage.

I understand, Petey. I really, really do.
